Form Elements


The program supports different types of form elements:

 

 

Only input elements will be included in the generated rmail! Static elements and the captcha code will not be included in the message.

Edit Form Elements:

Click on the input field, static or page to edit, move or delete the form element.

Select the form element, e.g. "1.2 Demo2" and click on:

  • "Move Up" to move the form element up
  • "Move Down" to move the form element down
  • "Properties" to edit the form element
  • "Remove" to delete the form element

You can also click on the small icons in the "WYSIWSG" edit section.

 


 

Toggle between Preview and Edit Mode:

Click on "Edit Form" to edit the form and on "Preview Form" to show the form without the edit options and borders.

Variable Name:

The Variable Name is the name of the Form Element. The varibale name is not shown in the form. See also: Email Settings: Email Format

 


 

Label:

The "Label"is the name of the field as shown in the form. It can be different from the "Variable Name" or the same. The label  can contain chars, which are not allowed in the "Variable Name", e.g. :

Text Description:

Optional Text Description. The description will be shown below the input field(s). See also: Description and Error Text

 


 

Required Field:

Please note: The program adds a * marker to the "Label" if a field is required.
You can change the *  marker in the "Form Properties -> Style and Layout -> Table/General -> Required Field Marker".

The default * is "[COLOR:#FF6600] * [/COLOR]". You can leave the "Required Field Marker" property empty to remove it.

 


 

Required Field Error Text:

The Required Error Text will be shown if the user has left a required field empty.

 


 

Default Value:

Default Value for the input field. (not available for all input types)

 

Width:

Width of the input field in Pixel or Percent.
e.g. 200px (200 Pixel) or 80% (80 Percent of the Cell Width

 


 

Description Text, Label and Error Text:

Description and Error Text will not accept HTML code, HTML entities like e.g. < will be transfered into > The program has multiple format options for paragraphs, line-breaks, text size, text color, add images, add links. See also: Text Format
