Files

Add a hyperlink to each file in the index.
Click on "Change" to switch between:

Link Prefix

Specifies the path from the index file to the linked files.  The default link prefix is: "./" (relative path), which means the index files are inside the "Index Source Folder". You can use a relative path or an absolute path to set the path from the index files to the linked files.

 

Click on "Edit" to enter the link prefix (if required).

 

Samples:

Index Source Folder: c:\webroot\files\
HTML index file: c:\webroot\sitemap\sitemap.html
Link Prefix: ../files/

In this sample we use a relative path to go one folder up and in the folder: files

 

Index Source Folder: c:\webroot\
HTML index file: http://www.yourdomain.tld/sitemap/sitemap.html
Link Prefix: http://www.yourdomain.tld/

In this sample we use an absolute path to link to the files in: http://www.yourdomain.tld/

 

Index Source Folder: c:\somefolder\
HTML index file: c:\anotherfolder\index.html
Link Prefix: c:\somefolder\

In this sample we use an absolute path to link to the files in c:\somefolder\

 

Transform Spaces:
Spaces in URIs (URLs) should be encoded to %20.
Click on "Change" to switch between:

  • Transform spaces in URI (link) to %20 (default option)
  • No transformation

 

Transform URI:
Click on "Change" to switch between:

  • No transformation (default option)
  • Transform URI (link) to lowercase
  • Transform URI (link) to uppercase

Important: Don't transform the URI to upper/lowercase unless you are sure, that the links are still working!

Transform File Name

Transforms the visible file name in the index to uppercase or lowercase. The transformation has no impact on the hyperlink/URI.
Click on "Change" to switch between:

  • No transformation (default option)
  • Transform file name to lowercase
  • Transform file name to uppercase

Add a hyperlink below the "Main Title" (anchor text can be customized):

 

Add home link

 

Home Link:
Click on "Change" to switch between:

  • Add home link
  • No home link (default)

 

Home Link URI:
Click on "Edit" and enter the URI (URL).
You can enter any link here, for example: https://www.yourdomain.tld/page.html.
